At the town Catholic Middle School, they are having a field trip day, over the weekend. They are planning to go to the National State Park. Coraline Jones and Wybie Lovat loaded up on the school bus with their fellow six graders. Coraline sat by a window and Wybie sat next to her. While look at brochure that Sister Agatha passed out. He notices the new Banana Slug Exhibit.
"Joice! There's a new banana slug exhibit at the National Park!" Wybie spoke in glee.
"Well, that is soooo exciting." Coraline said sarcastically.
"Tickle tickle banana slug" Wybie said as he ticked the picture of the slug. That gave Coraline a reason to slap him in the back of the head.
"You are so weird Why-were-you-born." The old bus creaked down the road heading for a day of fun.

When
the bus arrived the children hop out run and screaming for joy. Wybie
set out to find the new banana slug farm with Coraline dragging
behind him. It took most of the day, but Wybie found the banana slug
exhibit. It had a large sing in fount with the words New
Exhibit. Inside there are walls that had facts and photos
of slugs. There was a huge pit in the middle that has banana slugs
crawling around. Wybie walked to the glass that was about 3 feet tall
and looked though the screen on top.
"Wonder how they get in?" Wybie pondered.
"You better not do what I think you are gonna do?" Coraline warned.
"Jonesy you should know me better than that." He said as he started to lift the screen. Once he lifted the screen successfully in climbed in.
"What do you think you are doing Wyborne?" Just as the banana slugs climbed up onto Wybie.
"Hey look Jonesy, look at what the banana slugs are doing!"
"Oh Wybie you are gonna be in so much trouble."
"Come Jonesy learn to live a little" As the slugs leave a slimy residue on him. Then a security guard walks by.
"Oh look a boy is in the slug pit" and walks on, "WAIT THERE'S A BOY IN THE SLUG PIT!!!" The guard ran in the room and pulled Wybie out. :( "What do you think you are doing boy?"
"Playing with the slugs, what else?"
The guard then silently took his to the Security Office and made an announcement, "Sister Agatha Please pick up your student at the Security Office." Few minutes later Agatha Rushed in. Her face told that she was displeased with him. So the field trip was ended early and the Sisters rush the children back on to the bus. Wybie and Coraline sat back down in the same seat together. As the bus creaked off Wybie pulled out a small banana slug from his pocket.
"Banana Slug Do doot adoot do do" Wybie singed.
"You stole a slug?" Coraline asked.
"No it's a stowaway. Tickle tickle." Wybie said tickling the slug as Coraline give him a punch to his arm.
