Skylanders: Darkness Falls
You've been told stories of a far off world some people claim doesn't exist. A place where creatures of great power dwell high above on floating rocks in the sky. You've heard it called a myth, a fairytale. Well that is precisely where our story takes place. In the land our heroes call home. The Skylands!
Before we leap into this world of mystery and wonder, I must first remind you of an all but deceased legend. The legend of the Purple Dragons. In the Skylands, there live (amongst other creatures) dragons of all shapes, sizes, and colors; who control various elemental powers: Magic, Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Life, and Darkness (also called Undead). Legend has it that every thousand years or so, a very special dragon comes in to existence. This dragon, is Purple and is said to be able to control all of these elements. Not long ago, there was a purple dragon who started her training under the dragon masters. She became very adept in controlling several elemental powers. Alas, in her training, she became enveloped into darkness and was thought lost and faded from memory. Her name was Cynder.
Slowly, the Skylands began to feel the presence of evil in the air, and without a Purple dragon, all seemed lost. Then, legend broke its rules of time and a second Purple dragon appeared.
Spyro was born and was asked to begin his training, and thus began his journey, accompanied by a dragonfly named Sparx, to save the world. The duo defeated many enemies along the way. Nasty Gnork, Ripto, The Sorceress, and several others until they crossed paths with Spyro's most deadly adversary to date: Cynder herself. Spyro and Cynder battled in the darkened air above the Skylands for hours, even days before Spyro delivered the final blow, defeating Cynder and clearing her mind of the evil inside.
Together, Spyro and Cynder along with a laundry list of other Skylanders began saving the world time and time again. Until Kaos reared his ugly, bald little head.
Kaos was what we call a Portal Master. Now Portal Masters came to the Skylands through, you guessed it, a magic portal. Spyro and Cynder teamed up with other Portal Masters of all elements to defeat Kaos not once but twice. (The second time was with the help of beings called the Giants. However they are irrelevant to this story.)
Time passed after Kaos was defeated and our purple reptilian friends went off on their own, in search of peace. Having many adventures together, the two couldn't help but develop a strong bond to each other. The two mated and Cynder laid a single silver-ish egg.
