Quatre Saves Heero!

Disclaimer: I don't own GW. I'm doing this for fun...sort of.

"So I've saved the perfect soldier? Who would've thought that?" Quatre smiled at the thought as he looked at his friend. Heero was unconscious and tied to a bed in such a way that he couldn't even escape. Quatre noted that the figure in front of him still had his clothes on, so it was likely that nothing too bad had happened yet.

"I wonder what they used on you?" the blond Arabian thought as he pulled his trusty pocket knife out and started to cut the bonds that held the helpless warrior.

"Hnnnnn" Heero started to come to ever so slightly.

"Must not have been too strong. It's only been a couple of hours since you left home." Quatre snickered at the thought. He guessed that Heero had been drugged by drinking something, though our hero wouldn't know until they got back to the safe house.

Quatre looked over toward the desk on the other side of the room. A slumped figure dressed in pink looked peaceful, other than the rapidly increasing pool of blood it was laying in. "I wonder what could have driven Relena to this? Maybe Heero finally found the nerve to tell her. I don't know."

"Q – Quatre? What happened?" Heero was almost fully awake, although it would be some time until he was fully mobile.

"It looks like Relena had something planned for you. Too bad she'll not get her chance to pull it off." Quatre had just the slightest bit of fun adjusting the spandex shorts that Heero wore.

"Stop that, Q. You know Duo'd kill you if he saw you doing that." Heero's reply was slightly slurred, but Cat could hear the humor in his voice.

"I'd say you guys owe me one or two for this. And I didn't cop a feel, so he shouldn't get too antsy." Quatre smirked at his friend. The slight young pilot helped Heero to his feet and toward a balcony.

Heero noticed Relena's body and said "How'd you do her?"

"Slit her throat." Quatre beamed at the memory. "She gurgled for a minute or so and then slumped down there. I wish you could have seen it."

"I wish I did, too. You don't know how much this means to me." Heero prepared to jump from the balcony. Even in his current condition, he'd make the drop easily.

"I'll let you hit the destruct button once we're far enough away. I made sure Pagen isn't there. I feel sorry for the old guy, having to serve such a mistress for all those years." Quatre then watched Heero jump from the balcony and then jumped himself. Both of the pilots landed well and were up quickly. Once they had reached Quatre's car, they climbed in and headed off toward the safe house. Heero stuck his head out the window to look at Sanc Castle as he pushed the destruct button. As explosions ripped though the building, he turned back to Quatre and said "Thanks, my friend."

Quatre smiled and answered "You're welcome, Heero."
