Out of the Darkness

Father sun leaves the sky

We greet our mother moon

Her silvery smile lights the darkened sky

Darkness veils the heavens

And out of the darkness

Come the fey folk

Their beauty is breath taking

Their grace is unmatched

Twigs and brambles, flowers and leaves adorn their hair

Their bare skin twinkles in the moonlight

And out of the darkness

Come the fey folk

They dance a timeless dance

An ancient tune floats among the air

They begin to move so flawlessly

An invisible force drives them

And out of the darkness

Come the fey folk

Father sun breaks the sky

Mother moon is to whom they say farewell

The thick mask of darkness lifts from the earth

Light touches all it sees

Retreating into the darkness

Go the fey folk.
