I do not own Gakuen Alice. However, I do own this story. ;)
It was a beautiful summer day. Nothing like the sight of the bright sun and cloudless, blue skies to ease your worries. Streets were bustling, children were clamoring. Even the students were behaving themselves. It seemed like the perfect day for Alice Academy, school of alices.
It was not.
It was a preclude to war.
Narumi
"Okay, that's it for today, children. Don't forget to do your homework, and stay out of trouble. See you tomorrow~!"
Translation: Play hooky tomorrow and I will pheromone you.
-GULP!- "H-Hai, Narumi-sensei!" Every student had no wish to experience their sensei's pheromones. It was that disgusting.
Narumi smiled creepily. It was so much fun being a teacher. Even though he was no longer the childhood bully he once was, he still felt some satisfaction from bossing kids around. It made people wonder if he was truly an N-or an S.
"Narumi-sensei!"
Well, except for one person. Narumi turned around. "How have you been, my lovely daughter?"
Mikan smiled brightly. "Oh, just fine, Naru-sensei!" She moved closer. "It's just…you're wearing my shirt. That one I gave you last Father's Day."
Narumi grinned. "Of course," he said warmly, "how could I not wear a beautiful shirt given to me by my adorable student? It's my favorite shirt."
Mikan blushed. "I'm glad you like it so much, Sensei." She looked up. "Got to go! Hotaru will kill me if I'm late." She dashed off.
Narumi looked at her retreating back and smiled. "She's so adorable."
Kazumi
"What's my schedule for the day?" Kazumi did not look up from his newspaper.
"U-um," the poor attendant stuttered, "f-first you have a meeting with Jinno-Sensei; t-then you meet up with the middle school principal; afterwards you have a c-clear schedule."
Kazumi nodded, satisfied. "Good." He turned a page. "Then schedule a lunch date with my niece."
"R-right." The attendant turned to leave.
"Oh, and-"the attendant paused, "bring me some fresh black coffee. And bring it in my favorite mug. The one with the message."
"Y-yes, sir."
Kazumi looked out the window and smiled. "Today seems likes such a good day."
Shiki
Shiki was a having a very lovely morning. There were no dangerous class dogs around, the sun was bright, and the food was superb. Best of all…
"Shiki-san!"
…his ward had just stopped by. "Mikan."
The aforementioned girl beamed. "Just thought I'd stop by! How are you?"
"Good." Wonderful, he wanted to say, but he had a reputation to keep.
Mikan flashed her thousand-watt smile. "Glad to hear that!" She stepped forward. "You tend to stay inside too much, Shiki-san." She frowned. "I think you should go outside."
Outside? Away from the peace and quiet he had accumulated? There was no way he was leaving.
"Please?"
…or maybe he would. Mikan had just put on her best kicked puppy look, which was akin to melting marshmallows. How anyone resisted that look, he would never know.
He certainly couldn't.
"Oh fine."
If he had seen the future event that was to come, he wouldn't have left.
I thought about doing this as a one shot, but decided to do chapter form instead. Please tell me if you like!
