Waking up in the sorcerer's house
A little light trickled into the once empty bedroom in the Palace of Winds. It sprawled across the bed onto the face of a young girl who was fast asleep. The young girl starts to wake up, she rubs her eyes and yawns.
"I'm glad to see you're finally waking up," came a voice.
The girl opened her eyes more and screamed, "Ahhhh! Vaati!"
"Shhh, shhh," Vaati said trying to calm her down, "It's alright, Destiny. I haven't hurt you."
"How do I know! I wake up and see your face first thing in the morning! Is this some sort of joke?!" Destiny asked.
Vaati chuckled, "You are in my house now."
"How did that happen?! Did you seriously just kidnap me?!" Destiny asked.
"I couldn't resist, you are such a pretty girl," Vaati said stroking the girl's face.
Destiny kept her eyes on those sharp claws of his, making sure they wouldn't dig into her.
"Please Vaati, take me back to my parents! I don't wish to be here any longer!" Destiny pleaded.
"Ah, but wouldn't you like to stay for breakfast?" Vaati asked lifting her from the bed, "Or would you rather starve?"
"Stop touching me," Destiny said.
Vaati smiled and pretended to drop her.
"Ahhh! No!" Destiny shrieked.
Vaati put her back on the bed.
"Your suitcase is by the closet, feel free to change out of your nightgown," Vaati said as he left the room to get breakfast.
Destiny was now alone, she sobbed for a few minutes.
Eventually, the smell of delicious chocolate chip pancakes and sausage drove her to getting dressed and coming downstairs.
There was three boys in the kitchen wearing the exact same outfit. Some of Vaati's minions, Destiny guessed. Vaati was sitting at a large, black marble, table.
"I knew you wouldn't be able to stay up there for long!" Vaati said.
Destiny sat as far away from Vaati as possible. One of the three boys came out of the kitchen and gave them each a plate of food. Vaati and Destiny ate breakfast.
