Disclaimer: Nothing is mine. Otherwise, I wouldn't write this.
This fic is somewhat pointless, just an idea I came up with randomly. I don't know if it's any good or not, but there ya go. Enjoy!
Too Much Information
Mitchie hummed to herself as she unpacked her suitcase and hung up her clothes. It was summer break, and Camp Rock started in three weeks. The whole gang was going back this year as counselors, but until the camp actually started, Mitchie, Caitlyn, and Jason's girlfriend Jamie were touring with the boys. None of them were performing, so they were pretty much just tagging along.
"Mitch?" She heard Shane call out from the entrance of their (huge) hotel suite.
"In here!" She said. Shane walked into the room and kissed her cheek gently. "Aren't you going to unpack?" Mitchie asked.
Shane opened a drawer, grabbed his bag from the floor, and dumped all its contents in the open drawer. Mitchie shook her head as she folded up a t-shirt and put it in a drawer.
"There," said Shane, looking rather proud of his work. "I'm done. You wanna go see what the others are up to?"
Mitchie looked at him, then looked down at her half-unpacked suitcase pointedly.
"Does it look like I'm done?" Shane shook his head. Mitchie walked over to him, and stood on her toes to kiss his cheek. Then, she pushed him toward the door, and grinned as she said: "Go somewhere else, I need to finish, and you're distracting me.
Shane obeyed reluctantly and left the room. Mitchie heard him go into the bathroom, and giving it no second thought, she resumed unpacking.
Not two seconds later, Shane came out of the bathroom, with a look that was a mix of surprise, disgust, and terror.
"Shane, what's wrong?" Mitchie asked worriedly. He just walked over to the bed and sat down, still looking shocked. Curious, Mitchie went into the bathroom, to see if she could figure out the cause of this sudden reaction. There, she saw the pack of tampons she'd carelessly thrown on the counter, thinking of putting away later, sitting innocently. She looked around the bathroom a couple of times, confused, until it dawned on her. Of course Shane would have a mini heart attack because he saw her pack of tampons. He'd grown up with three older brothers and no sisters, so she had to guess he'd never really had exposure to 'feminine products'.
Mitchie sighed and rolled her eyes as she walked out, tampons in hand. "Was this the problem?"
Shane looked at the box fearfully. Mitchie had to laugh at his face, because really, this was all kind of ridiculous.
"Shane, it's just tampons!" She said, still laughing a bit. He nodded, not looking away from them.
"Shane, say something!" He looked at her doubtfully. She put the box down on a nearby surface and sat down by him.
"It's just… I… I mean… I'd never… It's… Why?!" Shane looked distraught as Mitchie put her head on his shoulder and tried to calm him down.
"You had to realize that I get my period eventually. I mean, I am a woman. It's what happens." Shane's eyes widened as he took in what she just said.
"You mean… You… So… I… What?" Shane looked even worse, so Mitchie decided to drop it.
"Look, I'll just leave them in that little cupboard, okay? Just so you know where they are and don't get shocked again." Shane nodded, and Mitchie, glad this was all over with, kissed him softly on the cheek. She was about to get up when Shane snaked his arms around her waist, pulling her down to the bed again. He kissed her gently, and Mitchie kissed him back.
Needless to say, Mitchie was never that careless with her things again.
