*Maka's POV*
It's been 6 years since the Defeat of Kishin Asura and a lot has happened. Like...
Soul is a Death Scythe.
Black*Star and Tsubaki actually Have 50 souls (I know, it's a miracle right)
Black*Star and Tsubaki are dating
Kidd and Liz are dating
Patty and Chrona are dating (as you can tell a lot of people are dating)
I actually changed in appearance. Bigger boobs, longer hair, taller, the works!
But after Soul's promotion, missions became harder and less frequent. So you can be sure I was surprised when Lord Death called all of us to the Death Room, together.
"Maka, we're here!" Soul said poking my cheek to pull me back to reality. "oh, yeah sorry..." I said cheerily getting off the orange and black motorcycle. Soul was surprised I didn't hit him and got off after me, quickly putting his hands into his pockets and walking slowly beside me up the stairs, only to find the usual scene. Black*Star was ranting about surpassing God to poor Tsubaki who only listened patiently, Kidd was ranting about the symmetry of the school, Liz was also listening patiently to Kidd while looking at her nails, and Patty and Chrona were talking most likely about Giraffes. One thing I forgot to add was that being around Patty has had a calming effect for Chrona, who now wasn't as nervous as when he first got here.
They all turned to give us a hello as we got there, "Finally here, huh Soul?" Black*Star said giving Soul the usual fist bump as Tsubaki waved at me from beside her boyfriend. "Well now that they are here we can get going into this meeting." Kidd said leading the group through the hallways of our former school. "Well it's Maka's fault we're late!"
"Well why didn't you wake me up then?!"
"Cause you're violet when woken, like a bear!"
"Maka... CHOP!" Soul held the back of his head while mumbling sorry for his comment as we all entered the large black double doors of the Death Room. "Waz up Kids?" Lord Death waved as we approached the platform and ranted off the usual greeting. "You called us for a mission, Father?" Kidd asked standing at attention.
"Yes, well hopefully this won't be as drastic as we have anticipated but anyway i'm sending you all together to a abandoned village called Fiore Bella or Beautiful Flower in the Italian countryside. I want you to pack all belongings seeing as you will probably be there for quite awhile. The Town is said to have a curse,and your job is basically to break it. So Blair will come with you along with Dr. Stein and Marie. This is also because the town is said to be run rampant with hidden entities and monsters so be careful! that is all, any questions?" Lord Death asked, we all looked at each other. Everything seemed pretty clear so we shook our heads no. "Good. Oh yeah, when I said abandoned I meant completely empty, no people so anyone there must be checked via Soul Perception before making any contact, but remember that there is soul protect so still be cautious. Contact me at anytime if you have questions, OK? You are dismissed!" He said waving bye to us as we walked out. I was a bit relieved my father wasn't with him although it was lunch time so he must be out drinking or something.
"This mission seems just like the good old days, huh?" Liz said as we walked down the front steps. "Seems so. Let's all meet back here in two hours OK?" Kidd said as we stopped in front of Soul's bike to split our separate ways. "Sounds good! YAHOO! Another chance to show off my godly skills!" Black*Star shouted as he started dragging Tsubaki towards their house. I rolled my eyes as Soul sweat-dropped and we got on the bike, speeding quickly around the streets of Death City. I had quite a bit of packing to do!
