Eye of the Tiger

The Gray Tiger, no longer bright,

In the vacuum of empty night.

Life support out, there are no cries,

All taken by Wright's surprise.

...

Above Nemaka's empty skies,

Fear was present in terran eyes.

No life support, they would expire,

Rather than from rifle fire.

...

Resocialization, that deadly art,

Twisting both the mind and heart,

Psionics had the process beat,

As the three fled the Dominion's fleet.

...

Zamara broke Wright's mental chains,

While still dwelling in Ramsey's brain.

And with Dahl they fled death's grasp,

While the humans let out final gasps.

...

No words were said in the clutch of fear,

No protoss or terran tears.

The carnage they weren't there to see,

But their conscience did not let them free.

...

The Gray Tiger, burning bright,

In the vacuum of empty night.

A dead ship, a floating tomb,

Echoing the song of doom.

A/N

So yeah, this is adapted from Tyger Tyger by William Blake, an adaption I shelved ages ago (or rather stored in a folder). Still, stumbling across the original in a book of poetry while clearing my room and that Twilight is finally being released in a few days ("Hell, it's about time"), it seemed appropriate to fall back on DTS material. Or something.
