Ch-1
Lily Potter walked down the hall of Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, her bag heavily weighted down with books not only from the library, but for her numerous classes this year also. Augh, she thought not only did she have her prefect duties, but also another million things to do, and it was only the first day of school! Fifth year was going to be just great, and the next two even better if her brothers James and Al were any example. Later that evening there was to be a prefect meeting, lead, of coarse, by Al, and Dominic Malfoy. Teachers said the only difference between them and their fathers, was the fact that their fathers were in different houses, and Dominic and Albus were not.
Later that evening in the common room, after a regular prefect meeting, bickering and all, Lily finally managed to get some quality homework time in.
She felt the burning stare of someone, and glanced up to catch the scrutinizing midnight blue stare of Dom. They had always been friendly to each other, regardless of her brother, so she gave a small smile in his direction, which was returned, before he gave her a slight nod, and went back to doing whatever it was he had been doing to begin with.
Strange, she thought, just strange.
