"I've heard there's a village in the mountains, buried in between clouds." Haley closed her eyes gently as the sleep-filled words spilled from her lips. She turned onto her side as her eyes fluttered open, brown seeking blue.

"Really?" Nathan said groggily before yawning, stretching himself out on the bed, snuggling into his wife's loving warmth.

"Yeah," Haley said softly as she wrapped her legs around his, inching closer, "It's supposed to be beautiful there."

"It's beautiful here," Nathan returned, his hands moving down to the small of her back, lingering there for a moment before he began to rub small circles upon her soft, silky skin.

"It's different there," she argued gently, "Time stands still. The beauty there mesmerizes you," she said wistfully, "The air is legend. One breath and all your problems disappear."

Nathan laughed throatily before shaking his head slightly, "I think the residents of Tree Hill need to pay this village a little visit then."

Ignoring his words, she continued, "Ever since I was little, my mom would tell me about it. It was the typical bed time story. It was the one I would always want to hear and believe me, I've heard it about a million times. I'm still not sick of it," Haley smiled softly as her thoughts drifted in and out of her childhood memories. "I've wanted to go there for so long."

Nathan pushed the hair out of her face with care and grinned tiredly, "I'll take you there one day."

"It's just a myth. It would be impossible to find it," Haley ceded, shrugging as she yawned. "I know that now," she frowned slightly, "I wish I didn't."

"Nothing's impossible," Nathan said decidedly, "You proved that by putting up with me, didn't you?"

Haley laughed lightly at his words, "How do you plan to find this place?"

"I have my ways," he said cryptically, "We'll find it and then we'll stay there for as long as you want."

Haley nodded sleepily as she linked her fingers through his, "How about forever?"

"Forever it is then," Nathan promised as he placed a gentle kiss upon her forehead. He could feel her breathing even out as he held her close. When he finally pulled back, Haley had already drifted into the depths of sleep. He smiled softly before pulling the covers up even further, falling into the grasps of slumber as well.
