It was a few years after her adventures on the Legacy, but Chloe did decide to return to Werites Beacon once again. Earlier that day, she met up with her old friends. Will, Shirley, Senel, and herself got together for lunch. A good meal with good friends always was a comforting to Chloe, but seeing Senel and Shirley happy together always left her a little hollow on the inside. Just a little.

Will and Senel had to get back to work, and Shirley had her own business to attend to and Chloe was left to her own devices. She wandered around the city aimlessly, seeing old acquaintances, seeing what had changed in the few years she stayed back home in Gadoria. The owners of the Weapon and Armour shops got past their sibling feud, moved on a formed a single entity. Mimi baker was teaching a class, and mischievous young kids allowed to rediscover her talents in balance.

There was one girl who really missed Chloe, that girl was Elsa. She recovered fully during the time that Chloe was gone, and started up a small book store in Werites Beacon. Her admiration of the knight was eclipsed by her work. Elsa was busy during the day, and her business left little time for daydreaming. She nearly forgot about her infatuation until Chloe wandered into the shop one day. Elsa's eyes lit up and she nearly dropped an armful of books when she saw her.

Apologizing to the elderly man that she startled, she skipped over to Chloe and gripped her shoulders. Meeting her just as she stepped in the doorway. "Chloe! I haven't seen you in ages!"

"Elsa, how nice to see you again," Chloe said, smiling shyly. Elsa grinned and squeezed Chloe. Chloe inhaled and looked at Elsa for a moment, it felt like eternity to Chloe.

Chloe leaned forward, embraced Elsa and whispered something into her ear. Elsa was surprised at first, but smiled, kissed Chloe's ear and whispered something back.
