This is just a cute Chrissa one-shot I wrote, read and review and hopefully enjoy (:

Disclaimer: sadly I don't own Vampire Academy, it all belong to the amazing Richelle Mead!

Christian fondled with the engagement ring in his fingers.

He wasn't sure how to do this; he definitely hadn't done it before and found himself quite nervous about the situation.

What if she said no? What if she didn't actually love him?

No, Christian reassured himself, she loved him like he loved her a perfect bond.

They were soul mates who had come across each other in a chapel attic in high school.

They were two best friends whose bond could never be broken.

They were meant to be.

Christian smiled at his new spark of confidence and sat down on the couch.

He knew exactly how to do it now.

Lissa's pov

I thanked Rose and made my way through the palace to Christian and my living space.

I opened the door cautiously and peered inside, it was dark all the lights were out, Christian must have been asleep I summarised.

I crept into the room and past the kitchen and into the lounge.

However this room held a different air, I didn't feel alone.

A body, as if on cue, walked from the shadow, it was one of those rare moments when I caught Christian smiling.

"Hey" I whispered, "I thought you were asleep, all the lights were out",

Christian pulled me towards him, into a warm Embrace.

"Not yet, there's something I have to do first",

I looked at him questionably, "are you ok?"

He nodded, "I'm fine".

Christian moved his hand around the room and suddenly lots of tiny candles provided light for the small space,

"Wow! This is beautiful" I gasped.

But then the unexpected really did happen, Chris got down on one knee and smiled up at me, a whole smile.

"I don't know how many royal formalities I'm breaking by doing this" he paused, "but I'm going to do it anyway.

Vasilissa Sabrina Rhea Dragomir, will you marry me?"

In that moment the whole world stopped around me, all I could see were those eyes, those beautiful ice blue eyes.

"Yes" it felt so natural rolling off my tongue, so unbelievably perfect.

Christians smile got even wider, so wide I hadn't even seen him smile like that and after placing the ring on my finger,

He flicked his wrist towards the fireplace, illuminating the room even more, before joining me in a hug.

I breathed in his scent as my head rested in the crook of his neck.

We swayed to the steady beating of our hearts, never before had I felt a love so strong that it left me speechless.

I was going to marry the most perfect man in the world.

"I love you Liss"

"I love you Christian",

He smiled and pulled my lips to his.

Never before had I lost myself in a kiss, like I did then.
