Two precious gems
One made of gold; the other amethyst
Beautiful to look at
But underneath those layers of beauty
Lie shadows no one would ever dare dream of

Stroking the smooth blonde tresses
He whispers into the man's ear
Promises and unfufilled dreams
And that no one will touch them again
But he never realized
He never should have made the promise he couldn't keep
