I watch you do this every night, and it never gets old. Sometimes I want to join you, but I feel like this is just for you and her. This is your moment with her, in the twilight, rocking.
I just lean against the doorframe and wait for my turn with you, patiently.
You smile and my heart swells at the sight of you. I see a tuft of black hair over your arm and my heart sings. I hear your soft voice crooning to the bundle you embrace.
