Note: The first of these has the original thought in its note. This is Harry and Draco talking about Harry's breakfast with his mother. This comes directly after #3. 373 words.
"How was breakfast today?"
"Marv, actually."
"Did you talk to your father?"
"Didn't see him. Must've been puttering around somewhere, though. Mum said he's been sulking since I moved in with you."
(sighs)
"He'll be fine in a little while."
"At least your mother likes me."
(laughing) "I have it on good authority she adores you and finds you funny."
(grabbing Harry around the waist and grinning) "Is that right? Funny, am I?"
(grinning back) "Yeah. Oh, and she wants to know what our plans are for the hols."
"Hmm, hadn't really thought about them. I've gotten a few more invites. I'll be expected to at least show up to some of them."
"Ugh, I hate doing these things. I know you love it, but I don't see how."
"Oh Harry, you simple, simple man. I have to be in the spotlight always, of course."
(laughing a little) "Of course, how could I have forgotten?"
"Yes, and try to remember that in the future." (kisses him soundly on the mouth)
"Do I get one of those every time I forget something?"
"Quite possibly."
"Oh dear, I think I've forgotten when your birthday is!"
(loud gasp) "That isn't even funny!" (kisses him again)
(laughing) "Yes, I believe it is."
"Hmph. Anyway, did your mother say anything else?"
"Just asked me if I was settling in here and how I liked it. I invited her over whenever she gets the chance. I thought about having her help me with the rose arbor."
"That sounds fine. I'd love to see her here sometime. Anything else important, or was the rest chit chat?"
(shrugs) "Asked me if I'm happy here with you, but of course not in so many words. You know how she fits a lot in a sentence."
"Yes, I do. I find it…faintly annoying."
"Really?"
"Yes, I can never quite pull it off like she can."
(laughs)
"So, are you?"
"What?"
"Happy here with me."
"No, I feel like I'm being held here like a prisoner!" (tears away from Draco and runs off laughing)
"Bah! He's gotten loose from me again!" (shouts a little louder as he takes off after Harry) "I guess I'll have to tie him down so he doesn't get away!"
