William Shakespeare was an amazing playwright, but his ideas were not always that great. Shakespeare once said, "The clothing oft proclaims the man." and that is not necessarily true. Many people argue about his opinion.
Many people disagree with Shakespeare's statement because the clothes you wear do not define who you are, although some people look at it that way. Some people look at someone else and think, "I don't like that person, they don't have nice clothes." or "That person is a geek or a nerd because they don't dress nice." It's insane!
Shakespeare's statement is completely and totally ludicrous, but he was entitled to his own opinion (however wrong it may be). In his day and age, wearing nice clothes may have mattered more than it does now, but that does not mean we have to live by that statement.
After you leave high school it is not going to matter what clothes you wore or what shoes you had, what is going to matter is who you are on the inside. It is like that old saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover." well, do not judge a person by what they wear.
