How did I know she was still alive?
The answer is obvious.
I knew she was alive because I could feel her.
She was in pain, and I could feel her.
How do I know I love Padme?
Because I can feel it.
I've felt it for ten years.
I remember when I first laid eyes on her.
There she was.
A queen.
But there I was.
A slave.
Two people.
One beautiful and free.
The other, with no control of his life.
In the ten years I have traveled the galaxy, I have actively searched, but I have seen nothing, no one as beautiful as Padme.
I know that I want to be a Jedi.
So no one will ever question my opinions or actions again.
So nothing will ever be taken form me again.
Anything—or anyone.
As a slave, I lost my freedom.
Then I lost the one who freed me.
Now I have lost my only family member.
On this day, I promise myself to never lose another loved one.
I almost felt sorry for those Tusken Raiders. But I didn't.
Because they didn't expect anyone strong to come to the rescue.
They didn't expect me.
Now everyone else should expect my arrival.
Let the galaxy see the consequences of anything or anyone who gets in the way of Anakin Skywalker and who he truly loves.
