Small Talk

It had been a while since they had seen another town or anyone else beside themselves. It was a normal night for the force as the sat around a campfire telling stories and eating. However there was a person that slowly got up and walked away from the group almost unnoticed. She would have been if some one didn't notice from the corner of his eye that she started to walk away.
Instead of yelling her name and asking where she was going he followed her quietly. He made no sound until she had reached a small ledge above where the rest of the force lied.
"It's a nice night to night." He said trying to think of something that didn't sound like he was spying on her.
"Kazin!" She jumped a little. "I didn't even know you where there! Don't scare me like that."
"Sorry I was just a little worried is all." The mage said as he looked at the beautiful priestess. "So is there a reason why you're here and not with everyone else?"
"Oh. I just wanted to get away and think is all." She said quietly.
"Oh I'm sorry I'll- "
"No, you don't have to go. I don't mind it. Its not like you're a loud mouth like Chester"
Kazin chuckled a little and decided to just sit next to where she was sitting. They sat for a while just starring at every one talking and going on. The only sound that could be heard was the slight noise coming from the camp and a breeze across the trees.
As they sat there Kazin noticed Sarah had her eyes fixed on one certain person. He knew she had spent a quite deal a time with him. He knew she had known them at least before he met them. Then when he had met them, they seemed fairly close.
"So you like him don't you?" he said to her.
Sarah didn't look away, however she did answer. "Heh. I've known Bowie forever. Every time I look at him I notice how much he has grown. I think, I like him more then a friend, but I don't think I could ever tell him that. He's the brave hero type and the brave hero type always ends up with the princess."
"Sarah, don't think so low of yourself or Bowie. He is a great guy and doesn't seem the type to break your heart. Also, you are.beautiful, and a wonder young women. There is no reason to think that some one couldn't love you." He said as he blushed a little.
"Thanks Kazin" she said with a smile. "Will you help me back to camp?"
"Uhhh sure" he said blushing again. Then he grabbed her arm and they headed back to the rest of the group.
AN: I hope you liked this fic. This is the first fic I have that is not an anime fic so it was kinda hard for me. Well please review and tell me. Thanks ^^
