This story is set when Sasuke came back, did some jail time, goes back to Sakura and Naruto, you know the drill. All characters 18.

The Bet

Sakura was with Sasuke, walking in the busy streets of the Konoha market. Sasuke had finally agreed to have a public date with Sakura, as he did harbour some feelings for the pink haired kunoichi. Ino and Sakura had made a 100 dollar bet, to see whose boyfriend was the best. Either one of them had to have a public date, filmed by their clones, and see which boyfriend could express his feelings publicly first. Sakura was now with Sasuke, whilst Ino was with Shikamaru.

Sakura broke the silence.

'Sasuke?'

'Hn'

'Do you love me?'

'Aa'

'Say you love me'

'Love you'

'Say I love you'

'No'

'Why?'

'I already did'

'Just say I love you!'

-Sigh- 'I love you'

'Say it like you mean it'

'I love you Sakura Haruno'

'With emotion'

'No'

'Why?'

'Sasuke?'

...

'Sasuke?'

...

'Sasuke Uchiha?'

'SASUKE UCHIHA!!??'

'Shut up woman!!'

'Then say you love me!' Sakura was on the verge of tears.

'Why won't he say I love you? Maybe he doesn't love me at all!' She thought. Her eyes glazed over, and then a stray tear slipped out.

'Fine! I Sasuke Uchiha love you Sakura Haruno with all my heart!'

People turn to look and stare, but only met the death glare of Sasuke Uchiha.

The real reason why he wouldn't say I love you was that he has a very big ego, and didn't want it to be bruised by saying 'I love you' to Sakura in public with the fear of Naruto blackmailing him. So he had just bruised his ego, because he hated to see his dear girlfriend cry.

'There! Happy?'

'Yep! Thank you Sasuke-kun!' She turned to hug him, but stopped when Sasuke openly kissed her in public. 'Might as well do it while I still can' he thought. The kiss was passionate, but at the same time dominating. This showed the other jealous men in the market place that Sakura Haruno belonged to him. When they separated, Sakura was glowing with happiness. Inner Sakura was cackling maniacally and shouted 'INO-PIG DOSEN'T HAVE A CHANCE! CHA!'

Unknown to Sasuke, a Sakura clone had captured the whole thing on video. Let's just hope that video doesn't fall into Naruto's hand for Sasuke's and Naruto's sake.

There! Finished! The reason why to hope that the video doesn't fall into Naruto's hand is that if he did, he would embarrass Sasuke, which in return would kill him.
