"Sherlock, we've made the papers again," John said as he folded his newspaper and set it on the table.

"For what? None of our cases have been interesting enough to warrant the attention of the press," Sherlock chimed from the kitchen. He didn't look up from his microscope as he spoke.

"It's not about a case, they've started questioning our sexuality." This got Sherlock's attention. He strode over to John and looked at the article in question which included a picture of the two of them huddled together at a crime scene as they discussed the case.

"Maybe they should try solving crime in freezing temperatures and we'll see how close they get to their colleagues," Sherlock muttered. John laughed and stood up, placing a quick kiss on Sherlock's lips.

"I'm going to shower, want to join?" John asked.

"Always," Sherlock replied as they headed to the bathroom.

"I don't know why you're so indignant over those articles, they really have us spot on."

"That's not the point, John. Our private life doesn't belong in the papers."

"No it doesn't, now take off your pants," John said, a smirk on his face. Sherlock mumbled something that sounded like "bossy" but did as John asked.

The End

A/N: Short and sweet, hope you liked it. I know I don't normally post little stories like this, but it just needed to be written. Until next time!
