- CHARIOTEER OF THE MOON -
---
Status: Complete
Quick Summary: A drabble (exactly 100 words) from the point-of-view of Tilion, the Charioteer of the Moon, thinking about his love for Arien, the Maia of the Sun.
Disclaimer: I wish I could write something sparklingly-interesting and witty here to illustrate my point, but I can't, so I'll just have to say simply that no characters/scenes/locations/anything-but-the-word-order belongs to me. It is all property of J.R.R. Tolkien.
---
Her eyes bright as the fire she embodies, the form she has taken seems to glide rather than walk. Our paths lead us to the same fate, yet she is taken far from me. In all my days of the hunt, never have I come across a creature or spirit who enraptures me more than she. Only the Valar and the fruit that she bears match her splendour. I am to go ahead, my chariot drawing the subtle beauty of Isil, and she is to follow. To these darkened lands we will bring hope, always together in glory of light.
