What is a toad? A toad is a small animal that lives in marshy lands
near ponds and lakes. A toad is a small ugly creature that no one
likes. People call me toad and I still hate them. I think there the
worst animals in the world which blob was kind enough to point out to
me. I guess in their opinions a name like toad isn't bad enough on
its own you constantly have to remind someone how stupid there name
is. When blob really started making fun of me it stuck. Before that
day people still made fun of me it was almost good-natured not quite
though. I remember the day it happened Lance had just come back from
his "I wanta be an X-man." Thing and every one was treating him like
an ass. Yep even me but just because everyone else was. That's me
gotta fit in gotta be cool. Well, the day after he got back Fred said
something like "sorry we've been treating you like this. With
mystique gone its hard yinno. Well, don't worry your only second
worst there's still toad." After that lance and him just started
laughing it was like he'd never left. A friendship repaired at my
expense. Just make fun of me and all your problems will go away. Well
everyone's accept mine. But then no one ever did care about mine
maybe that's why there still there. Its kinda funny because some
where around November Fred and lance left. Can you guess where they
went? That's rite Xavier's school for gifted youngsters never came
back. I think about February of the next year quicksilver just ran
off. Didn't say anything just ran off. He came back a week later
swore at magneto spat in his face and ran off again. That's when Mags
started getting some well, unfriendly types to help him. I know that
sounds weird I mean we're the brotherhood of evil mutants. Well, the
real name was just the brotherhood of mutants but some hotshot
reporter Trish Tilby slapped middle on somewhere in the middle. But
anyway to the world we were super vilions and I'm going on about
friendly and unfriendly people. Well heres the thing even while we
were attacking the x-men and being ass holes to everyone else we were
still just kids. Punk's maybe jerks to everyone but each other yeah
but we were still just kids. We'd laugh and joke I mean we well, they
were friends and me I was their friend depending on the day. It was
the few times said something like "hay Todd want to come to the
movies with us we're all going" or "man that looked like it hurt you
okay man?" That made me stay. Now about thoughs unfriendly types.
Well, there's mystique but she's always been a nasty person. Then
there's cane Marco. He broke out of jail six months ago and he's
definitely not friendly. He's one of thoughs people who talks about
killing while puzzling out the sports page. Then there's a guy Jason
windguard he arrived last week. He makes alootions damn good ones
though. I could have sworn I was on fire hurt and everything. Then
yesterday this woman Emma frost arrived. I don't know who she is but
don't think I'm sticking around to find out. Yep that's rite I'm
going to Xavier's school for gifted youngsters. The place where the
people who were closest to being my friends went.
