The Surface is Peaceful. Ever since Demise's defeat, there have been no monsters left to plague the surface world. My name is Link. I am the chosen Hero of the goddess. Since Zelda and I settled down here to the surface, we built out home right behind the Sealed Temple. After Headmaster Gaepora's passing, the residents of Skyloft have also been settling to the surface. We have many happy residents down here, our village is bustling with business. Pipit and Karane have become soldiers, protecting the town, Groose has been Training with Jakamar to become a repairman and engineer, Fledge is planning to build a Gymnasium so People can become stronger like he did, and Zelda and I have been busy raising our daughter. All is well here. However, some chose to stay in Skyloft. Horwell and Owlan refuse to believe in the surface, although they know it is real now, Kukiel wishes to stay and help Batreaux adjust to his new lifestyle now that he is human, Cawlin thinks that he is too special to reside on the ground with "losers", and Strich does not wish to leave his Bug Heaven in the Thunderhead. Orielle and Parrow want to come to the surface, but cannot bear to be parted with their beloved Loftwings. Those who chose to stay in skyloft have know Idea what they are passing up down here. We share some turf and resources with the Kikwi, and we occasionally trade with them, the Mogmas, and the Ancient Robots. The Kikwi Elder Bucha has since merged with the Great Tree, and now calls himself the Great Deku Tree. Oolo and Guld have returned to the surface, and live in our town with us. Pumm and Kina have opened a new Pub down here in town, where they still make the best Pumpkin soup I have known. Guld still plows their Pumpkin Patch, and Keet helps out from time to time. Knight Commander Eagus has become the Captain of our Army. The Skyloft Knights come by from time to time on their loftwings, to see how things are going, and to pick up resources for The remains of Skyloft, which is now nothing more than a dying chunk of dirt in the sky.
