My first attempt at a songfic, so let me know how it was.

I know there's something in the wake of your smile.
I get a notion from the look in your eyes, yeah.
You've built a love but that love falls apart.
Your little piece of heaven turns too dark.

Scorpius and I sit alone on the way back to Platform 9 ¾.

I can tell he's thinking about something important from the look in his eyes.

I've been thinking about something very important this whole ride.

"Is something wrong, Scor?" I ask tentatively, "You've been pretty quiet this whole ride."

Listen to your heart
when he's calling for you.
Listen to your heart
there's nothing else you can do.
I don't know where you're going
and I don't know why,
but listen to your heart
before you tell him goodbye.

"You've been quiet yourself," Scorpius says.

"There's something I need to tell you," I say, "Feelings…feelings can change over the years, Scor…and my feelings for you have changed. It's not just liking you in a friendly way…it's more than that…"
I wring my hands nervously.

Sometimes you wonder if this fight is worthwhile.
The precious moments are all lost in the tide, yea.
They're swept away and nothing is what it seems,
the feeling of belonging to your dreams.

Scorpius is silent.

Several things run through my head. All of the times of our friendship. Would our friendship be lost just because I confessed that I had feelings for Scorpius?
"I understand if you don't want to be friends with me anymore," I say tearfully.

And there are voices
that want to be heard.
So much to mention
but you can't find the words.
The scent of magic,
the beauty that's been
when love was wilder than the wind.

Scorpius finally speaks.

"I want to be more than just friends."

"W-What?" I stammer.

"I want to date you, Rose," he says.

Now it's my turn to be silent.

"I understand if you don't want to," he says, looking down.

"I would love to," I say.

Now nothing matters. I don't care how our parents will react. All that matters is now I'm dating Scorpius.

The train comes to a stop.

Scorpius and I gather our things.

Scorpius tentatively takes my hand.

"Let's go," he says.

And with that, we walk out to Platform 9 ¾ without a care in the world.

I hope you liked it! Please review!
