Bella's Poem

Here I am,

Lying in my bed,

Not being able to breathe.

My heart was ripped out

But I knew it was too good to be true

That he could truly love me,

Someone like me,

Plain Jane.

Those kisses,

Those touches,

They were all lies

As my life flashes before my eyes,

I can never remember what's going on.

The world is spinning too fast.

But I hear his voice,

Whispering in my ear

Keeping me safe,

Keeping me whole.

I can't help to think that I love him,

Though he's never loved me

Forbidden to remember

Terrified too forget

Life is too confusing,

especially now

Lying in my bed,

Finding it so hard to breathe.
