So, um, hi there. I'm Lyssie, and this is my very first story. It's about Seth and how he imprints on a young Maybelle Rose Carter. It's about their hardships and fluffy moments, and how even when you feel like the world is ending, you can still find love in the people who surround you. : ) Obviously, I don't own any of the characters from Twilight. Yeah, I wish, you know? The only characters I own are Maybelle and Lacy, and a couple of others I haven't thought up yet with this creative mind here. So, review? Please?
PROLOGUE
"I love you," he whispered, brushing away her curly black locks, "so much." and with that being said, he just held her silently. He hated seeing her in so much pain, and as the tears ran down her cheeks, he couldn't help but feel that the world was full of hatred. Who would want to do this to her? When they didn't even know her like he knew her? To him, she was everything.
She was the girl that could hold a smile, even when the world was crashing down around her. Her favorite color was green, she yelled at him when he forgot to recycle, and she took pictures to no end. Her best friend was an autistic girl named Lacy, and he knew that she would never abandon her, no matter what people said. She was stubborn and active, gorgeous and infectious, and impatient. She couldn't hold her temper for her life and she sucked at singing, but to him, that wasn't important. What was is that he loved her, with all of his heart, every single moment and second of the day.
She was love.
Her name was Maybelle Rose Carter, and he loved her. He wanted to scream it out to the world, to let them know that she was his light in the pouring rain. He wanted to stop her pain, to be her star in the dark. He wanted… he wanted….
…. He wanted her tears to go away. He wanted to be the person that would hold her at night, and then wake up to see her smiling face in the morning. He wanted to be able to make her laugh and her eyes sparkle whenever he made some terrible and corny joke, or missed the pan when he tried to flip a pancake. She was beautiful in everyway, and he wanted to be able to cherish that, to be able to give back to her what she gave to him. It was a bittersweet revelation, for even so, he knew that it was much too late for any of it to work out, no matter how much he loved her.
