It started out as just an assignment for English. But ended up being a great overview of Neji's new
thoughts after his fight with Naruto.

Destiny
What do you think?
Is our destiny already set out for us even before birth?
Can we escape destiny? Or change it?
Is it so pre-determined and interwoven?
Can we shape or change our destiny only with two hands?
At one point will we succumb to our destiny?
Or be another leaf in the wind?
Or, just another grain of sand in the desert?
Perhaps we are all part of a mosaic, for something so big we cannot see it?
I believe, I carve my destiny, with my own two hands.
I believe, I am not just another grain of sand.
I'm not just some caged bird,
But an eagle, who steers his own destiny.
Perhaps, it is fate, to follow your destiny.
But not my fate!
Whether I am a star to illuminate the dark,
or the eclipse to the sun,
Is my choice alone! Not destiny's.
My destiny is pending, on a path I will create all on my own.
