It was a normal morning at Hogwarts. Or rather, it was as normal a morning as is possible at Hogwarts. Everyone was sitting in the Great Hall eating breakfast and then, the post arrived. This was normal but the unusual thing about it was that identical notes were received by Victoire, Dominique, Louis, Rose, Hugo, Molly, Lucy, Fred and Roxanne Weasley, Teddy Lupin, Albus, James and Lily Potter, Scorpius Malfoy and Lorcan and Lysander Salinday. These mysterious and anonymous notes said,
Dear students,
We have received some important information that we believe concerns you. Please go meet me outside my office at the beginning of period 1. Your teachers have been warned of your absence.

All fifteen students were shocked. What was this earth-shattering information that they just had to be told? Nonetheless they trooped over to the Headmistresses office after breakfast. As soon as they were all assembled, Professor McGonagall took the bemused students into her office. They sat on the chairs facing her desk as she addressed them,
"You students have been called here to discover what happened in the war against Voldemort. I have obtained these books with great difficulty as I believe you have the right to know exactly what your parents got up to. Now, which of you would like to read first?"
