I woke up excited it was Bella's birthday, she was turning 21! I had been planning her birthday for weeks now and now it was here me and rose were getting up early to plan her surprise party. I had planned something huge at first, a gigantic party at the biggest club in New York with every person she had ever talked to invited, but as soon as she heard of our plan she had used everything in her power to stop us and had succeeded. Now we had planned something small instead we had just 21 of her friends and family coming to celebrate and she had no idea, Bella thought we were just going to have a few movies and eat chocolate with me Rosalie and Angela like a girl's night but what was the fun with that? I wondered if Bella would hate us for eternity if we did this.
Bpov
I had woken up depressed; it was my birthday - the day when everyone would look at me. It wasn't in a bad way but I still hated it. Alice and Rosalie had made me go to Angeles's so they could plan in secret - what was that about? We were just having a small girl's night with movies and chocolate or at least that's what she said. Knowing Alice it was probably something more than that.
I slid out of bed and walked into the bathroom and slipped on the bathmat. "Dammit" I cursed, oh well just the usual at least I didn't fall and hit my head in the shower waking up an hour later naked and very cold like last time. I had my shower and did my hair and teeth and walked into the lounge - careful not to fall this time and managed to succeed! I was having my daily fix of coffee when Angela walked in. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY "she yelled, causing me to blush cherry red and choke on my coffee. "Shut up" I muttered, though it didn't work that well sounding angry with me still coughing insanely. Angela just laughed at me "we can go over to your apartment at three. Alice rang me last night but in the mean time what should we do? "Library" I said quickly. It was reasonably safe for a clumsy person and it didn't involve shopping, not to mention there wasn't a need to talk to many people. Angela agreed - she was the same as me. She didn't like shopping and she was quite shy but she was lucky she didn't have clumsiness with her everywhere she went.
We went to the library and I walked over to my favourite section, the classics. I scanned my eyes over the titles.Wuthering Heights, Pride and Prejudice, Romeo and Juliet ,Emma, Jane Eyre, Mansfield Park, Sense and Sensibility, 1984,Animal Farm, Lord of the Flies, To Kill a Mockingbird, Lay that Trumpet in our Hands, Persuasion, Old Man and the Sea, A Christmas Carol, Oliver Twist and Little Women until I gave up. I had read them all many times I was looking for Angela when I saw him, the most heavenly man in the world just sitting there staring into space. His phone suddenly started beeping he picked it up and looked at it quickly, stood up and walked past me to the door, but as he passed he dropped his book. I reached out to get it only to trip and fall onto him. I blushed scarlet and rushed away not daring to look at his face it was probably one of complete disgust. I found a seat and sat there thinking about his gorgeous golden brown hair and emerald green eyes that memorized me and how I was such an idiot tripping as usual I don't know how long I sat there but Angelina walked over "Bella its time to go to the party" she said "come on" and she led me to her car.
