"Mm...Mow…?" The little fire booger mewled weakly from his spot on the floor, cracking open a tired eye.

"Oh, hey! You're awake." The girl smirked, kneeling down in front of him and helping him to his paws, unphased by his puny flames. What - How did he get here? There's a rumble of thunder from outside, and he pouted. Oh, yeah. He'd gone and got himself trapped out in the rain and must have knocked himself out.

"Nyaah?" He tried, staring up at the dark-haired girl. Maybe she could help him get back to normal like Gumball did when this happened a few years ago. Surely she's got an oven or something, right? Everybody does!

"Uh...Sorry, I don't speak cat."

"m-MOW! MOW MOW MOW MOW MOW!" He protested wildly, jumping on his little kitty-toes in frustration.

"Whoa - Hey, settle down! Jeez!" Marceline grunted, holding her hands up. She's always been a dog person. Cats just kind of freaked her out, how they just sat there and stared at you like they were going to murder you in your sleep. She just found the poor thing and figured the least she could do was bring him inside.

"MOWMOWMOWMOW!" The 'tomcat' yowled, latching onto one of her pants legs and trying to climb up. One way or another, he's going to get the message across to this girl, whether she liked it or not.

"Glob -" She panicked, hitting him smack-dab in the face with a small flicker of her pyrokinesis.

"..." He froze, blinked, and then grinned a catty-grin.

"What…? You like that?" She snorted, a little offset by the sudden change of pace in this freaky feline. She'd heard stories about a 'lion' prince from a couple different people, about how he could turn into the animals he reigned over...Surely this wasn't him? Either way, he's back trying to climb up her clothes.

"H-Hey, what're you -" She sputtered, but didn't try to dislodge him just yet. He made his way up her front, stopping only when he got to her shoulder, balancing precariously and poking at her cheek with his nose.

"Look, if you're looking for some heat, you ain't gonna find it here. I'm about as cold as they come."

He didn't stop, just started up a quiet purr. Maybe that will convince her. "Ugh...Here, fine. Try this." She sighed, snapping her fingers, a small flame shooting up between her thumb and forefinger. His eyes glittered, and he raced down her arm, jumping into the fire and instantly feeling his exhausted muscles relax.

"Heh - Better?" She smirked, and if she didn't know any better, she'd swear he nodded at her. Then, he closed his eyes, the trill in the back of his throat rising until it filled the quiet room. Maybe cats weren't so bad...

"Good."
