Darkness consumes me all around
By blackness I am bound
A tragic experiment gone wrong
I now do not belong
Everyone else is gifted with sight
Though try as I might
I can only imagine how things would look in my head
Or have Angel project them to me instead
But it is not the same
Never will I see the sun rise
Or a greasy burger and salty fries
I know all this sounds ridiculous
But you are all just clueless
To be able to feel and hear
Is a gripping fear
You never feel safe or protected
Instead you feel disgusting and rejected
You are handicapped and not whole
You are left without a piece of your soul
You will never feel complete
And you will hate to fall asleep
Because you know when you rise
The darkness will not die
I guess it really is no surprise
That black is the color I most despise
Ironic considering Fang is my brother
But he is not what smothers
So he is not my problem
