[Prologue]
James,
I'm sorry I have to write this letter but things have just got so hard recently. When you said come to Ireland I thought we could spend more time together and wouldn't be restricted by our parents. Didn't really work very well did it? I don't think there has been a single time over the past two weeks where I wish I were back in England. You know my motto "Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections." But recently the imperfections are just so hard to ignore.
So, I'm taking the cowards road and informing you by a letter. I'm going back to England. I'm really sorry it had to come down to this but I just cant live like this anymore.

"Crap." James thought as he put down the letter. Running around the house like a maniac as he checked all the rooms. Apart from the letter there was nothing to show that she had ever lived in the Irish cottage. James ran down the stairs two at a time, grabbed his keys, and ran to where his quaint car was sitting peacefully in the drive. As he started up the engine his mind wandered to what had gone wrong in the past few months….
