It was just another day for Aiko. Another day filled with pain. It was also the day that would change her life forever.
Her parents had been killed on the line of duty. However, she suspected that someone was behind it. She had no definite proof that it was so, but she had a hunch. She was born into Kusaragi clan of Kirigakure, but her only inheritance was a summon scroll that was used to summon their trusty comrades. It could summon cats. She learned that she was able to summon a huge black cat, and the two bonded rather quickly. She named the cat Tama and Tama sometimes allowed Aiko to pet her. Still, Aiko needed something. Something...
With that thought, she passed out.
Upon waking up, she found herself lying on a bed. The chair beside the bed was occupied by a black-haired boy wearing goggles.
"Ah, you're awake." the boy said "You were out for three days. You had us all worried. We found you when we were returning from the mission. My name is Obito Uchiha."
Aiko had heard about Uchiha clan and their stern demeanor. The one in front of her didn't seem to fit that mold. He was overly cheerful and talkative for one.
She heard the door open and looked up. A girl entered with a tray of food. She had brown hair that reached her shoulders and she and Obito both had black eyes.
"My name is Rin Nohara and I a medic." the girl said, putting the plate filled with soup onto the table that was part of the bed "Please eat it before it gets cold. We need to go on another mission, but we'll come back."
Aiko watched as Rin and Obito left the room. She wondered if the two of them were what she was looking for.
She was installed as honorary member of team Minato and developed a somewhat close bond with Rin and Obito. Kakashi seemed too stoic for her. She, Obito and Rin found a secret place to chat when they were not on missions, and met there whenever they had some free time. They spent that time talking about various things.
After a while, a new mission came up. Kakashi, Rin and Obito were selected for it. Being only a replacement member, Aiko was not allowed to go. She briefly wondered would killing Kakashi be worth it. She ultimately decided not to, for doing so would break Rin's heart.
They were back. Aiko went out to greet them. That was when she realized that one thing was missing. Well, one person, actually.
Obito.
"What happened?"
"We lost him. He died saving us." Rin told her
"We have no time to grieve yet. The war isn't over yet. I heard Kiri is making their move." Minato said "You need to find out what they're up to. Aiko, since we lost Obito, you have to join us."
Aiko frowned at this. While she wanted to join, it wasn't supposed to be at Obito's expense. Still, she had to agree.
Aiko, Rin and Kakashi were trailing the Kiri shinobi. At least that's how it seemed. When Aiko and Kakashi checked the situation, they found out only two of them were there.
"Oh, crap." Aiko muttered under her breath
"Looking for your friend?" a Kirigakure jounin sneered "Don't worry, she'll be returned to you shortly."
And true enough, Rin was returned. Aiko, however, wasn't fooled. They did something to her.
"Take her back to the village." Aiko told Kakashi "We'll take care of them together."
"We?" Kakashi inquired "You're the only other one here besides us."
"Boo." a soft voice whispered in his ear and a hand landed on his shoulder.
Kakashi turned around and saw Obito standing there.
