'Tis an odd thing

A Hobbit

One does not host a wedding

Until they know that it

And I mean the love

Is truly above all else

But how they get there

Ah! But that is a different story

Interlocked in love spells

That of Meriadoc and Estella

Peregrin and Diamond

And finally

Samwise and Rose the Fair

It was never a sure thing

You insulted me and I yelled

But it was not what I really felt inside

I lied to myself

I lied to my friends

And was not until one returned

That I knew I felt for you

Something that I had been blinded to before

It was torture, you know

Loving you, but too afraid to say anything

Because I thought you'd hate me

You didn't, though, and you accepted me

And I'm so glad you did

Of sweet hobbits

But we were best friends

Beside my cousin, I was closer to no one

You made a kitty and I made a puppy

Youth so innocent, I'm surprised it used to be me

You asked for part of the share

And Of course I said yes

I could not say no to your face

Our child was a job, I must admit

And yet you never quite

I know you wouldn't have it any other way

The last of the tales now

The sweet hobbits

Telling of their love, almost like a spell

That of Meriadoc and Estella

Peregrin and Diamond

And after a small bit more

Samwise and Rose the Fair

You were so beautiful

How could I not

Fall in love with you?

So young, your face

So sweet, your nature

I could never quite approach you

But after my journey

I found that courage

And I'm so very glad I did

For your fair nature and face

Was mine to hold and love

Forever

But nothing was meant to last forever

Even though that is what our vows said

It is so painful for one to
