I was walking down the hall, minding my own business, when someone's arm stopped me. I looked up to see a man with brown shaggy hair. "Hey, girly," he said, winking. "Want to go somewhere?"
"No," I stated bluntly. "Now, back off." I walked under his arm and walked away. I knew that would probably come back and bite me in the butt, but who cares-'cause I surely didn't.
I walked through the doors of Music Room 3 like I always did around this time. I walked in a sat on the couch in front of Takashi Morinozuka and Mitsukuni Haninozuka.
"Sam-chan?" Honey said. "You alright?"
"Yeah," I said, "I'm just fine."
Takashi got up and walked over to, putting his hand under my chin and tilting my head up. "You're lying…" he said, his face really close to mine.
I felt my face getting red. "Fine," I said, he then let go of me and sat down next to me. "I ran into another guy in the hall. And I ran my mouth again…"
Takashi didn't change expression and all Honey did was smile. "That sounds just like you, Sam-chan!"
I gave a small smile. I then got up and said, "Well, I better get going. I'll see you all tomorrow."
"Sam-chan?" Honey said. I looked down. "Takashi will take you home, just in case anything happens."
I looked at Takashi, he kind of looked like he didn't like the idea, but then again he always looked that way. But Honey gave him a look that made him go. Takashi got up and pushed me gently along.
We were walking down the hall, silence between us. I kept looking at the floor, nervous. I liked him and I didn't want to screw things up since he was my only friend really, so I kept my mouth shut.
We walked outside to the front gate. But I stopped walking when I heard a voice behind me. "You won't get away with what you said earlier!" I knew it was the boy from earlier in the hall.
I turned around and saw him with four other guys. "I'd really like to just leave," I said. "So, please don't start a fight."
Takashi's arm came in front of me and he pushed me behind him. I looked up at him and he's face expression didn't change, but there was something different.
Next thing I knew a fight broke out between Takashi and the four boys. Although since Takashi was so good at fighting, he brought them down easily.
I ended up getting pushed into a near by tree, scrapping my hand on it. I looked down and then looked at the others. Takashi was the last one standing.
Rain began to fall from the sky and we got drenched. He walked over to me. "You alright…?" he said, calmly.
I looked at my hand. "Just a little scarp, nothing serious, I'll be-" I cut off when Takashi grabbed my hand and put it to his mouth. He then licked my cut. My face turning red as a rose, what did he think he was doing?
Takashi's eyes looked up at me, my heart skipped a beat and my face turned even redder. I looked away, but he put his hand under my chin and made me face him. He then pressed his lips against mine as the rain drenched us further.
He pulled away from me, put kept his brown eyes on my blue ones. "T-Takashi?" I said, wondering why he suddenly kissed me.
"I don't think I need to say it," he said, still looking at me.
"Say what?" I asked, even though I kind of knew already.
"I love you, Sam…"
I felt a smile go on my face and my cheeks get warm. "I love you too, Takashi…"
Takashi then, literally, swept me off my feet and into his arms. He then looked at me. I pushed a strand of blond hair behind my ear and then leaned in and kissed him. Once we pulled away, I rested my head on his shoulder and he carried me away.
I guess the sun can shine even on the darkest and rainiest of days.
