This is the 2nd short poem I wrote this morning at 4:50 am. I won' t have
my one-shot out by tomorrow like I said, so this is kind of something to
replace it for now until I do put it up. This story can be told in Kagome

My shield's put up.
I won't give in.
I cannot ask
"Did you love me then?"
When we first met,
I never knew
That you'd be the one
Who 'd make my feelings true.
It's not her fault;
It must be destiny.
That I could love you
Without you loving me.
I won't sit and mope.
It's time to move on,
But I would never want
These feelings to be gone.
You can't decide
And it causes me pain.
Just make up your mind
My love will still remain
I won't ask why
Nor will I cry.
I just hope that you'll try
Before my soul dies.
Just choose now.
Let the truth fall.
It would better suffice
Than nothing at all.
