As I lay on the bed, these fill my head. It had happen an hour ago. He had just packed up his stuff and left. I am forgotten.
Flashback"What's wrong Cliff?" I asked worried. " Are you ok?"
"No… Eve. I'm not ok." Cliff answered. " I found a new life in a different town. I found a new girlfriend."
"But… why?" I asked, as the tears started to roll down my cheeks. "Am I doing something wrong?"
"Yes, you work nights and sleep days and you don't clean or care about this apartment." Answered Cliff with a blank, expression less face. "I'm going to Mineral Town and never coming back to The City. Good bye."
He shut the door and left. I ran down the hall, tears in my eyes. I was going to kill myself.
Flashback over
I'm going home to Grandpa Terry. He will board me. I'm leaving all this behind me. I will survive.
