disclaimer: I don't own Britney Spears (thank God!), nor do I own Harry Potter (alas!) He still belongs to J.K. Rowling, and I do hope that she is treating him well.

author's note: This is sung to the tune of "Lucky" by Britney Spears and takes place after Goblet of Fire. It's not quite as cheery as my last song parody ("Crazy") but then not every song can be about house-elves. (my co-author has finally allowed me to give her recognition for her help on this song and on "Crazy." She's my best friend Erin . . . thanks Goat Girl!)

"Harry"

(spoken)
This is a story about a boy named Harry...

Early morning, he wakes up
Knock, knock, knock on the door
It's time for potions, Quidditch game
It's you they're all waiting for

They go...

"Isn't he famous, this Gryffindor boy?"
Any they say...

Chorus:
He's a wizard with a scar
But he cry, cry, cries in his heavy heart, thinking
"If there's nothing that I could have done
Then why do these tears come at night?"

Lost in a labyrinth, in a maze
But there's no one there to rescue him
And the crowd keeps cheering, and he keeps on fearing
And wonders, why did it end this way?

They go...

"Isn't he famous, this Gryffindor boy?"
And they say ...

Chorus:
He's a wizard with a scar
But he cry, cry, cries in his heavy heart, thinking
"If there's nothing that I could have done
Then why do these tears come at night?"

(spoken)
"Triwizard Tournament, and the winner is... Harry!"
"I'm Rita Skeeter for the Witch Weekly standing outside the Quidditch Pitch waiting for Harry..."
"Oh my wizards!... here he comes!"

Isn't he famous, this Gryffindor boy?
He's so lucky, but why does he cry?
If there's nothing that he could have done
Why do tears come at night?

Chorus:
He's a wizard with a scar
But he cry, cry, cries in his heavy heart, thinking
"If there's nothing that I could have done
Then why do these tears come at night?"
