"I don't"
Buffy looked up at him anger and hurt fighting for dominance in her eyes. Anger won.
"liar, if you want to leave then leave, but don't try tell me it's what is best for me or that you don't want to be together. You're leaving because you're scared. You're scared that it might not work out. If you wanna leave then I can't stop you but I won't let you convince your self you are being noble when what you're really being is a coward. You think the way you make me feel doesn't terrify me? It does. Love hurts and it is scary and messy and when I really try to under stand it I get a major headache, but it's real, more importantly it's permanent, as in not going away. Ever. No matter what you do or how far away you go I will always be completely in love with you. Hell couldn't keep us apart, do you really think you can?, she yelled, pissed and rightly so.
"I have to, for you", Angel whispered, apparently not getting what she said.
"ugh, what does it take with you? Honestly Angel you are a 250 year old vampire and you're acting like Xander!, she screamed again but this time she was trying to keep from bursting out laughing at the look on his face when she compared him to Xander.
"Xander would never sacrifice anything!".
"Well neither are you! He convinces himself that whatever incredibly stupid thing he is doing at the time is what is best for everybody when he knows it really isn't, which is exactly what you're doing except you don't have the excuse of being a teenage boy."
"I..I..I "
" you… you… you, aren't leaving."
"but what about"
"it was neither a question nor up for debate it was a simple statement, you aren't leaving I won't let you."
Angel couldn't keep the smirk off of his face. He couldn't believe he thought that would actually work on the most stubborn girl he had ever met.
"if you insist"
"I knew the Xander part would get you"
He playfully growled
And they all lived happily ever after… yeah right!
