~ Somehow Not The Weirdest Thing To Ever Happen In The Defendant Lobby ~
In Defendant Lobby #6, waiting for the trial to start, Gregory Edgeworth was surprised to be delivered a note by the bailiff.
"What is this?" he asked.
The bailiff just shrugged.
"Well, who is it from?" Gregory asked.
The bailiff shrugged again.
"This is highly irregular..."
Gregory opened the note anyway. It read: "Get out of my courthouse." At first he wondered if he was being dismissed from the case. But this didn't look like his client's handwriting. Nor did it seem to be from the judge.
Which only left... the prosecutor for this case, Manfred von Karma.
"Huh... does he really think such childish tricks would scare me off the case?"
Several Years Later
"After several more misunderstandings, one accidental bullet to the shoulder, and some intensive therapy, that's how Daddy and Papa got together," Gregory explained to the children over dinner.
"That's not how Papa tells that story," little Franziska protested.
"Father," the teenage Miles said, sounding exasperated. "I asked for advice on how to tell Larry to stop trying to set me up with his ex-girlfriends, not to hear the tale of how you and Mr. von Karma got together..."
