Hands strip away clothing
And yet more than
that.
Every inhibition, every fear,
Every niggling self-doubt,
eradicated.
His mouth moves over delicate skin,
memorizing each curve and every
sound.
Their mouths fused, a passion filled embrace
he slid forward, and two became
one.
Guttural groans and high-pitched moans
and assurances of love were all that could be
heard.
For the first time, they felt truly ALIVE,
not just an imitation of life, but true, true
life.
Breath became ragged and bodies arched
as they approached their undoing, their
completion.
And then from her, the most beautiful cry arose,
a calling of his name, a sign of love and
trust.
With hoarse cry, he followed her, feeling
more vulnerable than he ever had
before.
Their eyes locked and they slid together
for one last kiss, each murmuring
softly.
I love you.
