"Mama!" a little girl ran up. She was about six and have striking red hair. Her two blue eyes sparkled as she gazed up at the man infront of her. "Who are you?" he asked.
"Ruke!"
"Nani?"
"Ruke, your daughter. Our daughter," said a voice from behind the puzzled man. "S-sasori?" he asked.
"Deidara."
"You and- me?"
"Yeah..."
"When?"
"A couple years ago," Sasori's eyes darted between Deidara and Ruke. He lifted his daughter up by the waist and held her softly. Deidara blinked. This was all so sudden for him. He was a mother? How could he have given birth to a girl; not even knowing it??? "I don't know how either," the puppet answered his thoughts and his forgotten lover reached out to touch Ruke's face. "She's beautiful..."
"Yeah, she is. I think you need to be a mother soon. My, uh... body state isn't quite suited for raising a lady."
"Of course," the blonde nodded and took his daughter in his own arms. Since the Akatsuki had disbanded 4 years ago, he had not seen anyone, yet he stayed near the old, ruined base. Deidara smiled and gazed at Ruke. How did this happen?

Deidara and Sasori walked together thorugh the forest after dropping their daughter off at the old base. Sasori had a feeling that there ws still a question Deidara wanted to ask. He was right. "Danna, why did you come back?"
"I love you."
"What?" Deidara's cyanine eye widened. Sasori nodded slowly. Deidara blushed like he did whenever Pein ponted out his mistakes. Quite embarrassing. Sasori smirked,"You missed me?" Without waiting for an answer, Sasori leaned onto Deidara in a breathtaking kiss. How Deidara had missed that kiss. Now he returned it with passion, but quickly pulled away. "Sasori, everybody thought you were dead, and there was another member. Tobi. And-" Sasori stopped him with another kiss on his tanned lips. "Im not dead, you see? Now go have fun with Ruke. Teach her to sculpt, I think she'll take after your art, not mine..." Sasori grumbled.
"But-"
"Im not patient."
"I know that too well..." Deidara grinned sheepishly. "Wait- you aren't staying, when are you going?" Sasori ignored him and walked past Deidara into the shadows. Deidara's eye weld up with tears as he slumped to the ground, long cloak swirled around his feminine figure. After all this time, he had a child. A little girl. Now, her father came back, yet left. Gone.

Deidara hugged his girl, now eight. Ruke had adapted to the art of explosives easily, but Deidara wanted to teach her to create puppets. Her first puppet was of her mother and her father. How she reminded him of the long gone Sasori... "Mum." Speak of the devil. "Yeah, Ruke?"
"I remembered the last thing father ever said to me." Deidara straightened up.
"After two years?"
"Yes, he said to never feel bad that he left us, but to remember my hair..." Ruke sratched her head in confusion.
Deidara laughed.
