Imagine. Imagine that you, are the only person left in you're entire city. Maybe even state. 3 million people on the entire planet, and then 90 percent dead on the spot, and 1 percent immune. The other 9 percent all have the virus. The virus that makes you sick beyond return. You're hair falls out, you turn pail, and you're veins stick out more than ever.

I am a survivor. Left in Las Vegas all alone. Immune to the virus. I am forsaken. My name? Azure Green.

One year after the virus struck…

I was in my car driving, the streets empty accept for lone cars, broken down. I could smell the scent of hydrogen peroxide. It seemed to ward away the dark seekers. It was beginning to get dark, so I made my way to Sunrise Hospital, the place where I had taken refuge. "Password please." The mechanical voice behind the door crowed. I kicked at the door, and it swung open. The password robot was broken, no one to fix it. I looked around; hoping none of the dark seekers has seen me walk in. They still had human-like tendencies, after all.

They could still listen, still hide, still speak, and still hunt for their prey. They were just pure evil, with their glowing red eyes.

I was now inside of the hospital, and I made my way to room 401. It was on the second floor, facing an office building where, "they" had taken their refuge. I cocked my shot-gun, and pointed it towards the room. I had to take caution, going into the room, or any other room at that. I searched every inch of it. Nothing. I smiled to myself, shut the door, and locked it. I flipped the light switch. And the lights turned on. The sun was now behind the mountains, and all was engulfed in shadow. I shut the blinds on the window. The temptation to watch the beasts come out brushed over me, and I switched the light off. I walked to the window, and opened the blinds slightly, pulling a chair over and sitting down. I heard the shrieks, and calls of the monsters, letting me know I would soon see them. I grabbed my pistol, and pointed it at my door. I heard some of them running through the hallways, and banging on doors. There was a shriek of a human, not infected. Sounded like a little girl. I looked outside, and sure enough, there was a small girl with golden locks tied up with ribbons. The monsters were using her for bait. Soon, someone would try to save her. I heard a loud bang, and bright lights turned on around the girl. The way the darks seekers reacted to the light, I could tell it was ultra-violet. A man rushed to the small girl's side, and I stood up to open my window. I pushed my ultra-violet spotlight towards the opening, and pointed it at the two. "I'll help you two get up here!" I shouted down at the them.
