Wally west aka the flash was stepping out of the community showers up in the watch tower cursing himself for not bringing a bathrobe so that he walk back to his rooms in peace 'but no' he thought 'I just had to forget maybe if I am lucky no one will see me'
Just then he ran into who, none other than the dark I-have-a-stick-up-my-ass knight, otherwise known as batman and his best friend the green lantern other wise known as john Stuart.
The two men just looked up infuriated that some one had not been looking where they were going and ran into them and were met with the sight of flash in a towel and nothing else except his . . . scars
"What the hell happened to you?!?" asked the green lantern obviously shaken up
While the batman just stood there with a look of shock on his normally blank face
'Crap' the flash thought to himself 'they weren't supposed to see these . . . ever'
"Well ... uh … you see" flash cleared his throat no one had seen his scars before except the person who made them and he came up blank for a reason for having them " I fell" he said lamely
' Crap flash they are going to know that is a lie' seeing the disbelieving looks 'and they already do well look on the bright side they haven't seen the tattoo'
" I gotta go… um bye," yelled flash over his shoulder sprinting away so fast that he was surprised that he wasn't in the speed force
Back with Batman and Lantern
"Do you have any idea what those scars are from they cant all be from hero work" said lantern
"No in his files and his background check that I did there was nothing on a dangerous job or car crashes of any kind of nothing that would cause such scars" batman said quietly to himself "he works at a children's center for gods sakes"
"Then what could have caused those scars?" john asked quietly
"I don't know I really don't know but I intend to find out," said batman brimming with determination
