"Joker, why haven't we docked yet?"
"Just waiting for clearance captain, seems there's alot of traffic today."
"Alright, let me know as soon as we get clearance, I'll be in the briefing room."
"Will do captain."
Commander shepard walked away from the bridge towards navigation, he had important news for Anderson, it had been almost 8 weeks since the sovereign incident and little headway had been made in finding a way to fight the reapers, mainly because noone had any leads, but Shepard had found something on Ilos which could help the situation.
"Sir, we've got clearance, initiating docking procedure."
"Good, send allaince command a message, I need to talk to Anderson."
"Actually we've already been hailed by Anderson, he'll be waiting on the docking platform."
"Thanks, that's all joker."
Shepard stepped into the briefing room, to his surprise, Gunnery Chief Williams was waiting for him.
"Something up Williams."
"It's just... do you think we should have left Dr T'soni on Ilos?"
"She's an expert on the protheans, we need her to look around and find anything we missed, besides, the tech team might need her help once they get there."
"It's just, it's going to be at least a few days before we can get a team out there, and there might still be geth..."
"Don't worry Williams, she's got Wrex, and she's not too bad in a fight herself."
"I know sir, but if they do get in trouble, there's noone to..."
"You haven't gotten over Alenko have you Williams?"
Williams looked down to her feet, and then at Shepard.
"Maybe, maybe if we didn't leave him alone, if we just stayed together, like a team..."
"That wasn't an option Williams, and you know it...this is different, things will be okay."
"I hope so... sorry captain, I know noone would be more afraid of losing her than you."

The SSV Normandy flew into the docking station and hooked up to the platform, a textbook perfect docking procedure, as always, sometimes shepard was really amazed at Joker's skills.
"Captain is ashore, XO Pressly has the deck."
"Shepard."
"Sir."
"Come on Shepard, you've known me long enough to call me by my name."
"Of course sir."
"You haven't changed one bit Shepard. Anyway, find anything interesting on Ilos?"
"Quite a bit, we managed to locate the back up data units for the Prothean VI, we estimate over two thousand terrabytes of raw data, hopefully something in their data banks will help us learn more about the reapers, We'll need a tech team down there straight away, Dr. T'soni is still on the surface, could take months to comb through all that data though."
"I'll get right on it, but first Shepard I need to ask a favor of you."
"What is it?"
"The Turians are having some trouble in their sector, seems there's some geth scout ships performing hit and runs, most likely left over's of Saren's forces,
problems is the turians are having trouble tracking them with their reserve forces, since their main forces are still in position around the citadel, The Normandy has probably the most advanced sensors of any human OR Turian ship, I need you to get down there and take out those Geth ships."
"Sir, I think we have more pressing issues, the reapers are probably headed for citadel station as we speak..."
"Shepard, I don't think I need to remind you that the Normandy was partly funded by the Turian's. Human's are in charge of the council now, but there's alot of people who don't like it that way and I don't want to give them any excuse to start a political crisis, that's the last thing we need. We need to prove that we can cooperate with the other races."
"I understand that sir, but the reaper's are the priority here."
"Shepard, I promise, as soon as we find the smallest lead, I'll call you back and you can get to work."
"Alright sir, I'll do it."
