Hey all! Just felt like writing something before I head off to bed. I am dealing with a bit of a personal issue and honestly this fanfic explains it well. I used Maya to represent me. Due to her having anxiety like I do.- Everything maya goes through in this fic is currently what I am dealing with. I also added in some Maya/Grace because I love the pairing.

Maya both barley breathe...
For a year and half it had been a battle. Through the courts as Maya and her mother fought against her father who stopped paying child support after their divorce.
A warrant had been sent out for his arrest due to him not showing up to court with the money. Now he was in jail and would stay there over new years weekend. Until court on Wednesday January 3rd.
"I-I..." Maya mumbled. Her anxiety was building up.
"Maya It'll be alright..." Miss Matlin said. She then took her daughter into her arms for a comforting hug.
The rest of the evening Maya seemed okay. She watched some of her favorite shows after dinner as a distraction to the news. That night when she went to bed she was alright... But later into the night she woke up three times due to nightmares.
The next day she was tired, anxious , and stressed. She began to become afraid of sleep. She didn't wanna have anymore bad dreams...
Maya decided to text Grace that night. They had been dating for a little over three weeks now. : "Grace, I need you come over? I'll let you in through my bedroom window,"
After sending the text the blonde-haired girl waited for about five minutes, then a response came in.
: "Of course, Matlin! I'm on my way,"
Within ten minutes Grace gently knocked on the window and Maya opened it to let her in.
"Hey, Grace," Maya greeted.
"Hi there, My Maya," Grace replied. She kissed Maya on the lips who returned the kiss. Once the girls broke apart they laid down together. Grace held Maya in her arms as Maya began to slightly calm down.
"I am so scared for the court date, Grace..." Maya said slowly.
"I know," Grace responded. "I'm so sorry all of this is happening, Maya,"
"I'm just glad I've got you..." Maya replied. "I love you, Grace,"
"I love you too, Maya. So much," Grace said. "You're my angel,"
"You are so cheesy sometimes you know that?" Maya said with a chuckle.
"Only to you though," Grace nodded. "Only to you,"
"I guess that makes me special..." Maya hummed.
"It does," Grace smirked. "You're my girlfriend after all,"
"So true!" Maya said.
"Indeed. Now then how about we both get some sleep? I can always sneck back into my house later around like 3 am," Grace added in.
"Sounds good to me. Goodnight, Grace,"
"Goodnight, Matlin. I'll always be here beside you,"
