Episode tag to Allies

Disclaimer: I do not own these characters. They belong to MGM etc. I do, however, now own both s1 & 2 on DVD:D.

A/N: I hadn't seen s2 before this as it's not on any channel I own (annoying sky!!!) but all I can say now is WOW! I love it!

I know this has probably been done before, and it is very short but it came to me as I was watching s2 these past few days. I noticed during the scene with the Queen Wraith in Weir's office, that when Sheppard mentioned his grandchildren, Weir looked at him Here are my thoughts of what happened next…

"What about all the other humans on the other worlds? Any chance you'll stop feeding on them?" Elizabeth asked the Wraith Queen.

She smiled, "Your retrovirus will allow us to feed off enemy Wraith. There will come a time, however, when our enemy will be vanquished"

"At which point, you'll return to killing ordinary folks the old fashioned way." Sheppard pointed out."

The Wraith looked at him, "That will take far longer than your short lifetime."

"Let's just say I'm worried about my Grandkids." Elizabeth looked at him, before returning her gaze back to the Wraith.

The Wraith Queen spoke to the leader. "The technology of this city – this city that you now control – is far more powerful than that of the Wraith, yet we brought the Lanteans to their knees." She looked at John. "Why?"

"Far greater numbers."

"Numbers that will be diminished by your retrovirus." She pointed out. "Balance will be restored. I believe that is as much as either of us can ask for, don't you?" The Wraith looked at John and Elizabeth before leaving the office with her escorts.

John looked at Elizabeth, who had a smirk on her face. "What?" He asked.

"So, you're planning on having children are you?" The smirk still on her face, "And who's gonna be the lucky lady?"

He looked down, guilty, "We haven't discussed the idea, I know, but one day yes, I would like to have children."

She noticed how he avoided the other question and gave him a pointed look, raising her signature eyebrow.

He suddenly lifted his head, and looked her straight in the eye, "That is if you feel the same way of course."

The hopeful look on his face made her smile, "Perhaps one day, when the threat of the Wraith has died down, then yes I would like to have children, and I can't think of anyone else I would rather have them with."

"I love you," John said in a low voice, maintaining eye contact.

"I love you too." Elizabeth replied. He could almost see tears forming in the corners of her eyes, by knew that he could go round the desk to her without anyone seeing him do that. They weren't ready for the rest of the expedition to find out about their relationship just yet.

Just as John turned to leave the office, he swung back round to ask, "it won't stop us from trying though for now though, right?"

She couldn't contain the laugh, "You'll just have to see later tonight then, won't you?" She replied, the twinkle back in her eye. "Usual time and place?"

"You bet!"

Elizabeth laughed again and watched him leave, allowing herself another few moments to study him, before having to get back to boring paperwork. He gave her a little wave as he walked down the steps in the gateroom, letting her know that he knew what she was doing. She smiled back at him and waved. 'What did I do to deserve him?'she thought to herself.
