she lay still
sobs inside
smiles outside
she holds it together
not for honor
not for pride
but for love
she cant and wont
she could never
put herself in pain
for it would only
hurt her friends
AN: this poem is just something I was thinking about, hiding your pain, and I wrote my thoughts down. I guess this could also be used as an anti-cutting or anti-suicide poem, It reminds you that people can care, even if they are too embarrassed to share their feelings aloud
