Anzu walked into the schools library. She needed a book for her report that was due in about a week; though she was almost done, she needed to cross-reference a certain piece of information, before she actually could turn it in. She had walked down various rows of books searching for that one book, but to no avail. When she reached the end of the row, she spotted a familiar mop of blondish-brown hair.

"Jounouchi, is that you?" Anzu asked, walking up behind him.

Jounouchi panicked, he closed his book, and kept his back to Anzu. "Jounouchi?" she asked again.

"Um, hey Anzu . . . err, what's up?" he asked shakily.

"I just came in here to find a book for my report. What are you doing here though?" she asked suprised

"Me, err, just to do some light reading, that's it!" Jounouchi abruptly stood up, back still facing Anzu. "Well, sorry to say Anzu, but I've gotta go. I'm getting pretty hungry! So, I'm just gonna go."

He started to walk away, back to Anzu still, when Anzu grabbed his shoulder and turned him around. "Jounouchi, wha?"

"Jounouchi, are those glasses?" she blinked, an awe look on her face.

Obviously frustrated, Jounouchi sputtered and blushed. "I'm just . . . I'm just trying something. Wondering if I look smarter with these glasses on, ya know."

"Oh," Anzu replied, disappointed. "You know, it's okay to wear glasses. Especially if you need them to help you see. There really isn't anything wrong with that. Plus, you look cute with those glasses on!"

Jounouchi's face turned a beet red, gaping. "Um, okay, you got me. I need these things to read, yea. We're doing something really interesting in my history class, and I really wanted to read the material, so . . ."

"Jounouchi!" She exclaimed, "I'm so proud of you! You're finally taking an interest in your school work!"

"Yeah, well, do get too worked up about it. It's only a one time thing ya know."

"Well, then what's it about?"

"What'd ya think it was about, Ancient Egypt o' course!"

She huffed, "You boys are all the same. Anything about Duel Monsters and you all go gaga. Why can't you guys just do the work because you're truly interested in it?"

"But An', it's not about the Duel Monsters. Yeah sure, it got me interested, but it got me interested. It ain't about the Duel Monsters any more. Now I'm just really interested in learning about the culture 'n stuff."

Anzu gave Jounouchi a big, cheery smile. "Well good for you Jounouchi. Hey, maybe I can help you find some more interesting topics to look up sometime!"

"Really, that would be . . . okay."

"Great, I have to go find this book now, but I'll give you a call later; and we can discuss some topics you might be interested in. Oh, and don't worry; I won't tell anyone about your glasses or seeing you here today."

With that, she smiled, walking down an adjacent isle.
